I am often asked to present to local college classes about resume building, how to land that first job and other business communication topics. This is a presentation I often use with personal examples from my JR-SR year of college and have presented to Hardin-Simmons University's Business Communication and Job Placement class several times.

    Sales: Named Top Sales Associate: by District Manager. Aimed to make every sales goal segment in every shift on the sales floor. Helped increase annual store profit by 17% from the previous year.
    Marketing: Transferred to the position of Floor Set Design and Marketing Management, after six months on the sales floor. Prepared marketing props and pieces for assembly and presentation on the sales floor.

    Marketing Intern, in charge of correspondence, copy writing and design for marketing materials. Project management, event management, marketing and promotional material management
    Project Management:
    "You In Your World" community-wide art contest, the "Great Summer Read Book Sale", the "Very Merry Christmas Book Sale." Included creation and execution of press releases and marketing pieces for each project listed.
    Event Management:
    KidzFest" Marketing & Event Co-Manager. Designed and managed marketing projects for eventflyers and invitations, t-shirts for staff, event sandwich board, billboard, and customized sponsorship logo balloons. Coordinated all exhibit grand opening gallery talks, media interviews, gala events, and children's events for each exhibit.
