CLMP1 (MSDS) PresentationCLMP1 (MSDS) Presentation• Having detailed knowledge of dangerous chemical through the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) will help a logistician in his/her job.• Students (group leaders and members) are to open a www.slideshare.net account and deposit their Chemical Logistics mini-project1(MSDS) into the private CLMP1(MSDS) grouping.• Each group is to present it during the 6th or 7th week (video + reflections) presentation.
Dangerous Goods (DG) SymbolsDangerous Goods (DG) Symbols•Register for an account with Slideshare and join the CL-Lecturer_name (e.g. CL–lcb) group – Please indicate your student name and group no. (e.g. Tan Ah Kow – GpA) so that you can be identified. (Individual Ex.)• Please upload at least two or MORE Dangerous Chemical symbols plus the location where you found them, in slideshare (www.slideshare.net). Indicate the following for each slide:
• the name of the DG symbol and • the location where it is found/stored. Is the location safe?
• Before submitting your DG symbols to slideshare, please indicate your Name/Date on the front page. Your postings would enable your classmates to learn from each other!• The dateline is Monday, 12 January 2009 or earlier.
CLMP2 Video+Reflections CLMP2 Video+Reflections Presentation Presentation
• Being able to visualise the supply chain process of acquiring dangerous chemicals/goods (From manufacture, ordering, transportation, distribution, storage, handling to end-users), can help a logistician in his/her job.• (Optional): Gps are to consider a memorable & effective way to recall the 9 groups of DG classifications and subgroups, if possible. • Each group is to present it during the 16th or 17th week CLMP2 (video + reflections) presentation. The Best DG Symbols slide is to be judged.
