On invitation of the French Embassy in BiH (Catherine Constant) to introduce the ISLE-Network and promote sustainable development within the week of the French week of sustainable development
Background
• More insight in sustainable development: invitation to discussion
• Introduction to ISLE: partners and activities
• Invitation to join the ISLE association
Aim
• Workshops at three Universities: Sarajevo, Tuzla and Banja Luka. Contacts with staff of 5 Universities.
• Workshop on sustainability at Collège International Francophone de Sarajevo (CIFS
• Press conferences, radio interviews, informal meetings with students and staff, cultural activities.
Program
• Lively discussion with representatives of faculties on sustainability and what is done and still needs to be done
• Difficult to work interdisciplinary and transversal
• Interest in the good practices: when are they available on website
• Strong commitment of vice rector of University East Sarajevo to introduce sustainable development in the curricula and operations of universities
• East Sarajevo offers to host ISLE association meeting Balkans

• Farmers also suffer form the difficult political and governmental systems: controversy/ mistrust between Bosnians <-> Serbs
• But, they make a nice slivovic: sante!

already know a lot about subject, others are eager to know more: the future generation! • Great fun to do.
