RECOMMENDATIONS FOR NGOBO:

Speed restriction signs at 1km spacing's along NH 14 from Semarang to Bawen

Seal the shoulders around the intersection – especially on the southern approach where we will widen to make an extra (right turn) lane

Make the side road junction more conspicuous

Renew advanced direction signs on each approach to show the diagrammatic layout of the intersection.

Re line mark each approach.

On north approach, mark two lanes – the left lane for through/left traffic and the right lane for through traffic.

Pavement arrows – 3 pairs – on each approach

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR NGOBO:

Install a narrow, semi mountable median along the

Highway for a distance of 100m north and south of

this intersection.

Monitor crash situation.

If no improvement, install intersection traffic signals.
