For example, the major Market Index in Australia is the S&P/ASX 200; an Index made up of the top 200

stocks (Companies) in Australia. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA30) is probably the most widely

known Index in the World. There are many global Stock Market Indices, such as:

Binary or Index Trading, as a trading technique, is still fairly new and unfamiliar to many Australians,

however, it has a long history in the Worldwide trading markets. Index Trading has unfolded to be one

of the simplest, safest and most efficient cash-flow generating investment opportunities today!

In simple terms, an Index (plural – Indices) refers to Stock Market Indices that is the measure of the

movement in value of a Market or various sectors of a Market. A country’s Index is established from

the accumulation of the share prices of that Country’s group of top performing stocks (or Companies).

In other words, a Stock Market Index is simply a method of measuring the Stock Market.

Index trading is also commonly referred

to as ‘intra-day’ trading or ‘trading

binary options’. It is a form of online

trading where you anticipate the direction

in which a Market would move (either up

or down) in a given period of time. This is

known as “taking a position” on a Stock

Market Index.

In other words, when trading Indices,

you do not trade or purchase individual

stocks, instead, you are buying a position

on a whole Country’s Index. Therefore, you

“take a position” on the overall direction in

which a specific Market Index will move,

over a specific period of time, which is as

simple as, for example – an up or down

movement over the next hour.

Stock Market Trading VS Binary Trading?

Simple Comparison If the investor sells the asset back to the Market whenever its value increases then they are making a

profit, and if they sell the asset back to the Market when its value decreases, then their money is lost.

This type of investment requires the investor to constantly worry about when to sell the asset and get

out of the Market to avoid exposing their entire account to the Market’s volatility.

Conversely, Binary or Index trading is much, much simpler and more effective.

However, unlike traditional trading

methods, in Binary or Index trading, you

trade ON the Market and not IN the

Market. You are simply predicting the

asset’s movement for a predetermined

time frame.

Instead of purchasing tangible assets such

as shares, you are trading on the movement

of a variety of Market Indices around the

Globe. Indices constantly rise and fall

throughout any trading day. MAY uses a

variety of analytical specialists, analysis

software and algorithms to determine the

direction in which a Market Index is going

to move.

In most common forms of stock market investing, investors actually purchase the asset in which they have

chosen to invest in; and the value of the profit and loss is determined upon the changing value of the

purchased asset.

In traditional trading, when a stock is purchased for let’s say $10 and that stock moves up by

10% and the stock is then sold, the investor would make $11 in total, or $1 profit (10% return).


For example, if a Market Index has been

predicted to move down and you have

placed your trade on that prediction, then

you gain a financial return. This way it is

possible to generate profits whether a

Market Index moves up or down.

Essentially, it is simply an UP or DOWN

decision over a specific time frame; and,

you only ever expose a small portion of

your trading capital over a short period

of time. Your remaining trading capital

remains safe in your trading account.
