COLLEZIONE YO & ME

Il bagno è un luogo ricco di sensazioni, dove ci muoviamo poco vestiti o nudi. I nostri piedi scalzi accarezzano il pavimento, sentiamo l’umidità nell’aria e ci guardiamo allo specchio. Ascoltiamo soltanto l’acqua - in piedi nella doccia con il getto che scorre sulla nostra testa e sui nostri piedi. Yo & Me è sentire la leggerezza dell’acqua camminando sulla dura roccia. E’ il pensiero di vivere in una stanza scolpita da un unico grande blocco di pietra e stare seduti in cima ad una montagna guardando un sentiero di alberi secolari della campagna toscana. Il pavimento ha le venature di un legno antico e la doccia è un semplice tubo che esce dalla pietra. La pietra racconta la nostra storia senza tempo e ci fa sentire in comunione con la terra, che incisa diventa soffice e delicata come un pezzo di legno. Penso, ricordo.

COLLECTION YO & ME

The bathroom is a very sensitive place. It is a room where we walk around with very little dress or naked. Our bare feet feel the material on the floor we sense the moisture in the air and we look at ourselves in the mirror. Mostly do we only listen to the water - we are standing in the shower with the water splashing on our head and feet. Yo & Me is about feeling the soft water and walking on the hard rock. It is about the feeling of a room sculptured out of one big block of stone and on the edge of the mountain is sitting a row of lightning trees like an alley of trees on a tuscan road. The floor is striped as an old wooden floor and the shower is a simple tube behind a wall. It’s a story about the stone. About the stone that tells our story over time. That makes us feel the mass of the earth. That carved becomes soft and gentle like a piece of wood. I think I remember.

COLLEZIONE FURO MIO

Nato dalla volontà di creare un perfetto equilibrio tra la rievocazione dell’antico spazio - con antibagno e Furo, proprio come detta la tradizione giapponese, per valorizzarne e preservarne l’importanza - e la modernità degli elementi in cui l’espressione diventa materia; Furo Mio, progetto di Toshyiuki Kita per Bigelli, reinterpreta la tradizionale visione del marmo per conferirgli caratteristiche di mobilità e leggerezza, senza sminuirne la forza naturale. Un esito che fonde elementi diversissimi concretizzandosi in un’architettura modulabile e flessibile, che si adatta ad ogni esigenza di colore e dimensioni.

COLLECTION FURO MIO

Furo Mio is a Toshyiuki Kita’s project for Bigelli, that is born from the will of recreating the perfect balance between the ancient space – with antibathroom and Furo as the Japanese tradition suggests, in order to exploit and preserve its importance- and the modernity of the elements in which the expression becomes material; Furo Mio reinterprets the traditional vision of the marble, to confer to it mobility and lightness, without diminishing its natural strength. Such outcome fuses different elements and carries out modular and flexible architecture, that is suitable for any demand of colours and dimensions.

COLLEZIONE LEONARDO

La semplicità visiva si coniuga con l’eleganza antica della pietra, attraverso il tratto rigoroso di un unico segno linguistico: una curva digradante verso l’interno che descrive un incavo, un imbuto, un gorgo d’acqua. La collezione Leonardo di Franco Poli per Bigelli declina questo semplice gesto in una famiglia di oggetti minimi ed eleganti dedicati alla zona bagno che vanno dal lavello in appoggio (configurato anche in una versione asimmetrica con un piano laterale scavato in un unico blocco), al piano doccia, fino alla grande vasca in pietra scavata in due sezioni che consente un facile trasporto ed inserimento ad incasso.

COLLECTION LEONARDO

The visual simplicity is combined with the ancient elegance of the stone, through the strict stroke of an only expressive sign: a bend sloping down toward the inside, which describes a hollow, a funnel, a water vortex. The collection LEONARDO by FRANCO POLI for BIGELLI declines this simple gesture in a family of minimalist and elegant elements dedicated to the bathroom. The range goes from the wash-basin in support (also available in an asymmetrical model, made from a solid block and with a depressed side plan), to the shower tray, up to the big solid basin, composed by two sections that allow an easy transport and embedded insertion.

PROGETTO LUCREZIA

Lo spirito del progetto Lucrezia nasce dalla sintesi ed essenza del concetto di “Bagno Pompeiano”. La purezza delle linee sottolinea la preziosità del materiale che costituisce la collezione. Il marmo, roccia calcarea cristallizzata e compatta, viene scavato direttamente su blocco o ridotto a tessere, per realizzare il mosaico “a Canestro”. Nasce così la collezione Lucrezia caratterizzata da forma solida, scultorea e al tempo stesso leggera perchè sospesa tramite ancoraggio a parete. Il progetto si completa con una serie di mosaici-decorazioni parietali ispirati ai fregi presenti in varie rappresentazioni di epoca romana.

PROJECT LUCREZIA

The spirit of the project “Lucrezia” arises from the synthesis and the essence of the Pompeian bathroom’s concept. The purity of the lines points out the preciousness of the material, that builds up the collection. The marble, which is a calcareous crystallized and compact rock, is directly dug on block or reduced in cards, to realize the mosaic “basket”. The collection LUCREZIA comes out this way: it is characterized by solid and sculptural form but it is light as well, because it is hanged on the wall through anchorage. The project is completed by a series of wall mosaics-decorations, inspired by several Roman age representations’ ornaments.
