you can add up to 5 previous customers as references (they will receive an email requesting them to rate you).

you can also be rated by other bequester users that have used your products or services, through the bequesterplatform.

post a request for quotes

posting a request for quotes is simple and straight forward.

just input all the info about your request, including when the request opens and closes for bids.

your request will be sent to suppliers (prompting them to bid) and other users (prompting them to join).

join a request

instead of creating a new request, you can join an existing request.

the more requesters per request, the better the bids from suppliers.

bidding on requests

businesses that can fulfil the request will bid on it, providing price and a pitch.

the lowest bidder is not guaranteed to win; requesters choose based on price and pitch, and also ratings.

accept the best bid

when a request closes for bids, you are given the option of accepting the best bid.

you don’t have to accept the bid with the lowest bid amount.

you accept what you feel is the best bid, based on the bid amount, the pitch and the bidder’s ratings.

accepting a bid requires you to pay a deposit to bequester, which is treated as both a transaction securing fee and a facilitation fee.

the difference (total –deposit) will be payable to the supplier on final purchase of products/services requested.

sales ticket

a sales ticket (proof of transaction) is produced following your acceptance of the bid.

the sales ticket provides detailed info on the transaction between the requester and the supplier (including paid deposit, total and difference to be paid by the requester at final purchase).
