American Airlines entered into service the f irst legacy
US Airw ays aircraft, an Airbus A319, painted in the
American Airlines livery. The new ly dressed plane, tail
number N700UW, w ill debut its freshly painted fuselage
w ith service from Charlotte to New York's LaGuardia
Airport on f light 2060.

ACHIEVES THREE MILLION
HOURS OF SERVICE
Rolls-Royce is celebrating its Trent 900 engine
achieving more than three million hours of service on
the Airbus A380 aircraft.The engine powered the
A380 into service for the first time with Singapore
Airlines in 2007 and is now flying with seven
operators on more than 60 aircraft. It has been
selected by 11 of 17 customers to have made an
engine choice.

CESSNA Citation Latitude prototypemakes succesful first flight
The first f light of the Citation Latitude tested f laps, landing gear, pressurization
systems, anti-ice capabilities, stability and control. The test f light reached an altitude of
28,000 feet and attained speeds of 230 mph (Mach 0.6). Cessna f light engineers said
all systems are performing as expected.
