DC IT1 - Arezzo is the most modern facility.In terms of uptime, both the structure and the systemscomply with or exceed Tier IV, the maximum international classification standard.

In order to optimize the layout, the network cabling of the main server room has been divided into 10 "islands", each with 70 racks. Each island has its own dedicated switches and routers. The structure of the data center provides maximum security as the server room is isolated in a building made of reinforced concrete. Batteries, generators and transformers are separated from the server room and located in special buildings.

The decision to have two data centers close to each other (3,5km) allows us to replicate the data from one facility to the other in real time, in order to offer customers high redundancy and performances.Developing Disaster Recovery solutions are simplified by the position of the two data centers in Arezzo, half way between Rome and Milan.

GO CERTIFICATIONAruba and Romagna Energia have developed a partnership with the purpose of searching energy saving solutions using all the possibilities for optimizing consumptions. Romagna Energia also ensures the supply of green energy certified by the “Renewable energy Guaranteed” trademark which guarantees that the energy used by the data centers of Aruba is green energy certified by the “Guarantee of Origin” issued by the Gestore dei Servizi Energetici (GSE) company. The Guarantee of Origin (GO) is a certificate which certifies the renewable origin of the sources used by the GO qualified facilities in accordance with the directive 2009/28/CE of the European parliament and the Resolution of Authority for electricity and gas ARG/elt 104/11.

The Dynamic Free Cooling system provides high energy savings, as such a system can operate up to outside temperatures of 16-18°C, condition which is monitored often in the locations of our Italian data centers.

In the air-conditioning system an element of special importance is represented by the extraction system of the exhaust air coming out of the devices which has been designed to avoid one of the typical critical situations of server rooms: the formation of hot-spots in places which are not easily reached by the air distribution system.

Therefore, the air extraction system provides air extractors in the immediate vicinity of the devices in or-der to avoid mixing the hot air produced by the devices and the cold air coming from outside.

This process allows for further optimization aimed at maximizing energy efficiency, so that all the cooling power is only and exclusively used to cool down the servers.

HOUSING E COLOCATIONWith this service customers can install their servers or the entire architecture at one of our data centers. This way, whether it be for a single machine or for groups of racks, customers can benefit from all the facilities of the building, such as power supply, air-conditioning, connectivity which is protected and monitored according to maximum reliability standards.The size and features of our server rooms allows us to offer even entire racks reserved exclusively to single customers.

MANAGED DEDICATED SERVERS Customers can have one or multiple servers while relying on constant monitoring and the support of our technical team.This solution is suitable for those who prefer to delegate the systemic management of the machines yet still manage their hosting services.

CLOUD COMPUTINGA IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) service with which customers can create both simple and complex infrastructures, made up of multiple virtual machines with the possibility to expand or reduce the number of machines and resources in real time with a single click.Its main advantages are the simplicity, flexibility, security and the Pay per Use pricing model.
