Marcelo is business analyst with over 15 years of experience as a Developer, Business Analyst, Trainer, Manager and Project Manager. Marcelo, in addition to being the President of IIBA – Rio de Janeiro Chapter, is also writing a new book for the IIBA called Managing Business Analysts, which will be available in the fall of 2010.

To Qualify for the Exams� Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™

(CCBA™)� Minimum 3,750 hours of BA work, aligned with the BABOK® Guide, in the

last 7 years. These hours must include EITHER:

� 900 hours in 2 out of 6 BABOK® Guide Knowledge Areas, OR

� 500 hours in 4 out of 6 BABOK® Guide Knowledge Areas

� Minimum 21 hours of Professional Development in the last 4 years

� Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®)� Five years work experience in past 10 years or 7500 hours

of experience

� Experience in 4 out of 6 knowledge areas

� Minimum 21 hours of Professional Development in the last 4 years
