• We need developed analysis technique to retrieve useful data from huge amount of data.

• Due to the recently increased processing speed of computers and analysis systems, the number, speed and accuracy of analyses have increased, too.

Why is it important to process information quickly?Quick, instantly available data are needed

• Data mining is not a new technology.• Early systems had a lot of limitations, as the

amount of data strained the capacity and processors of storage systems.

• Organizations have no time any more to await for several days for complex analyses.

• It is inevitable to make instant and quick decisions in order to have competitive advantage.

What kind of data can be retrieved from mobile devices?Joint examination of sensor data

• Primarily we used sensor data independently.

• We examined data of simultaneous measures of several sensors.

• Traditional methods yielded no results.

• It is necessary to discover correlations: based on real-life examples.

• Based on the information gathered, we perform analyses by setting up models.

How do we process data?Cloud computing, Big-data, BI, etc.

• Business corporations do only store most of the gathered data, however, they are not able to analyze them.

• The concept of “big data” emerged, which means data stored in a less rigid structure and processable in a different way than in previous data structures.

• During our research activities it became obvious that we must be familiar with more than one technological solutions and trends and consider them when choosing the suitable mobile strategy.
