The large bold font displaying the name stands out, and clearly shows that they’re an organic band. On most synthetic album covers the fonts used will be fancy or immature, whereas the Ramones (a rock band) just used a plain bold font. The actual photo of the

band stands out because the background is quite light so the dark clothes of the band emphasizes they’re punk like genre. The album cover in black white shows their urban edge and authority they have as a rock-band as opposed to a pop star like Katy Perry. They look like a gang which reinforces their organic image. The brick background alongside their stances clearly aligns with

them with an organic earthy background, which clearly signifies they’re urban and streetwise, which aligns them with the punk movement they were a part of. This is something we want to reinforce with our band. We want them to look urban and edgy but with a more indie aesthetic.
