Silicone Rubber O RingsExactseal Rubber manufactures a large variety of custom and standard size Vulcanized Silicone O-Rings, from Silicone Cords, Silicone Tubing, Silicone Square, Rectangular, and from custom extruded profiles. And variety of different rubber silicone o-rings that are approved by 3A SANITARY STANDARDS, NSF STD-51, FDA 21 CFR177.2600, USP CL-VI, UL94 and ASTN-2000. Available Hardness (Durometer) from 20 shore A up to 80 shore A. They are fabricated with a unique Vulcanizing technique which makes the joints as smooth as molded parts. We can also joint the hollow cross sections in a way that the joint has the same comprehensibility as the length of the gasket.

Viton Rubber O-RingsFKM Viton Rubber O Rings

Fluorocarbon (FKM) o-rings have excellent resistance to high temperatures and a broad range of chemicals. Their permeability and compression set are excellent.FKM (FPM, Viton®, Fluorel®) resist mineral oils and greases, aliphatic, aromatic and also special chlorinated hydrocarbons, petrol, diesel fuels, silicone oils and greases. It is suitable for high vacuum applications. Many fluorocarbon compounds have a higher than normal mold shrinkage rate, molds for fluorocarbon products are often different from molds for Nitrile.

Nitrile Rubber O-RingsNitrile rubber (NBR) is the general term for Acrylonitrile Butadiene Copolymer. It is the most widely used and economical elastomer. NBR offers excellent resistance to petroleum-based oils and fuels, silicone greases, hydraulic fluids, water and alcohols. It provides a good balance of desirable working properties including low compression set, high tensile strength, and high abrasion resistance. Use of Carboxylated Nitrile can have superior abrasion resistance, while still having improved oil resistance.The most widely used compounds have a Nitrile (ACN) content of approximately 32% and are known as “Medium Nitrile”. Compounds having approximately 50% ACN content are known “High Nitrile” these are usually specified for use with Hydrocarbon fuels. Compounds having approximately 18% ACN content are known “Low Nitrile” these are usually specified for use with Low temperature applications.KEY USE(S):Oil resistant applications of all types Low temperature military uses. Off-road equipment. Automotive, marine, aircraft fuel systems. Can be compounded for FDA applications.
