Jamdai Saree

•Dhakai Jamdai is made up of fine muslin.•With multi-colour floral motifs, these sarees are an ultimate choice.•Every girl has one if they like one colured saree.•Cotton Jamdani is bit of a layered saree than the Dhakai. •Beautifully designed and colured, these sarees can give a touch of gentility.

Kantha-stitch:

This type of sarees is especially thread woven by the artisans.Usually the base colour of such sarees is light or extremely dark in colour.The threadwork is done in contrasting colours to mak the design pop out of the saree.But, few like it to be of the same colour. The dignity of the saree is all the more enhanced, when you wear a white saree with stitches done in white thread as well.

Ghicha Saree

It is a rough cotton fabric.The texture and the weaving pattern is completely different and hence, can be worn by any.It comes with prints of batik, gold or block.Junk jewelleries go great with these sarees, especially silver.

Resham Baluchuri

Resham is the word for which you must own it.Baluchuri has mythological stories drawn in the pallu of the saree.Authentic Bengal saree.Produced in Murshidabad, but now the place has shifted to Bishnupur.It takes one week to produce such saree.

Matka Saree

Quite alike Ghicha and Tasar, the texture is rough.It is specially hand woven.The weavers add a silken shine from the silk thread to the rough texture, which makes the saree different from the lot.Weavers are given are extreme scope to show their caliber.Beautiful colours are put together in contrats in the saree.It usually comes in smaller design patterns.

It is a silk saree, which is a favourite of all the ladies.Usually worn in ceremonious rituals, like Durga Puja.It is undyed, because it comes in the natural colour of mulberry or tasar.The word Garad means white.Weaved in Murshidabad.
