What can you do with Quote Templates?

• Create templates that contain settings such as tax rates, payment terms and custom logos.

• Create templates containing items that you often or always include in a quote.

When could you use Quote Templates?

• Create templates for your main customers.• Create templates with tax settings for

different countries or states.• Create templates for similar work you

carry out frequently.

Quote Templates Guide > Step 1 – Open Quotes Manager

Click QUOTES Manager, then click Quotes Templates.

Quote Templates Guide > Step 2 – Create a New Template

Click CREATE TEMPLATE

Quote Templates Guide > Step 3 – Name the Template

Enter a Template Name and Display Order then click CONTINUE

Quote Templates Guide > Step 4 – Change Quote Settings

Click on “Show Quotes Settings”, make any changes then click UPDATE.

Quote Templates Guide > Step 5 – Enter Basic Quote Details

Enter details for the Quote Template then click CONTINUE.

Quote Templates Guide > Step 6 – Add items to the quote template

Add Line Items and Fixed Cost Items then click CREATE TEMPLATE.

Quote Templates Guide > Step 7 – Using a Quote Template

Start a new quote as normal then click the “Create from Template” link.

Quote Templates Guide > Step 8 – Choosing a Quote Template

Select the template from the drop-down list.

Quote Templates Guide > Step 9 – Make any changes as needed

Carry on as you would for a normal quote, making any required changes.
