The Need for Enterprise wide ICT Visibility

ICT Visibility is critical to ICT decision making

effectiveness:

• Being able to “visualise” the “problem” is crucial to

identifying a feasible solution set and therefore the optimum

solution, the Vision

• “If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will take you

there”

• Defines the starting point for any ICT Transformation

initiative vi a ‘fact base’

Office (PMO) to:

• Develop a whole of organisation

view of ICT to:

• Prevent outsourcing failures in

service delivery;

ICT Project Management Office

The Windchill supported PMO is 'centre led' managing/facilitating

contracts across three areas:

• Strategic Relationship – Aims to understand all parties’ businesses

and challenges, and through this, agree on common objectives with

shared KPI's;

• Service Delivery – governs and monitors project delivery with any

issues escalated appropriately – the one best way, and;

• Commercial Management – verifies that obligations are being met

by both parties and manages contractual consequences, whether

they are rewards based on KPIs being met, or penalties for non-

delivery.
