Women in Business Education ScholarshipCriteria and Application
WOMEN IN BUSINESS –
Women in Business (WIB) is a branch of the Cache Chamber of Commerce and has two main purposes: 1) To assist business and professional women by providing networking and professional development opportunities, and 2) to raise funds to provide scholarships for women who otherwise could not afford to get an education.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE –
The Women in Business organization offers a scholarship to Utah State University, Bridgerland Applied Technology College and/or Stevens-Henager College. This is a one-time scholarship to a woman who meets the following criteria:
• Must be female, 18 or older and residing in Cache Valley• Currently enrolled, or planning to enroll by fall, 2013 at one of the above mentioned educational
institutions• Must be majoring in a business related field• Have an accumulative GPA of 3.0
REQUIREMENTS –
The following areas are evaluated to make a final scholarship decision:
• Business related classes taken• Involvement in extracurricular activities and/or community service projects• Career goals• Financial status• Application information turned in accurately and by deadline (March 18, 2013) along with:
- Two letters of reference- School transcript- Photograph in a sealed envelope
