Hit The Lights...On With The Show!
Performances and events move ahead as planned; hospital construction has no impact
People are asking whether we're building a swimming pool in front of the Arts Center.
Not to be party poopers, but the big hole that you see as you pass by on Highway 101 is a new detention basin for the Center, as well as for the new Sutter hospital being built next door. Crews promise it'll be covered with beautiful landscaping before the rains come. Hospital construction is also on-going along the Center's entrances and in the parking lot, so expect some changes next time you visit.
The construction has no impact on the Center's operations. We continue to have ample parking and easy access.
Theater Residency and Music Camp
Some learned to act and dance, others to sing and play music.
They studied their lines, starred in their first show, made instruments, and created CDs of their own original music.
They also ate plenty
