About the Company

Vitasol is the largest developer and manufacturer of premixes, vitamin and mineral mixes for animals. We provide a scientific support, laboratory services, and sales and delivery of products.

Our Company's success is due to the fact that it is a developer and a manufacturer of the majority of produced premixes, mineral and vitamin mixes, a protein-vitamin concentrate and other feed supplements.

The production base

CJSC Vitasol has an in-house production base (the land of 2 ha in area, a feed supplement plant with 5 independent lines, a small package shop, a raw material preparation shop, a vehicle fleet with 40 units of equipment, storage capacities of about 2000 sq.m in area, repair shops, a laboratory building and a health improving complex).

The main assets of the Company are experts: biochemists, animal technicians, physiologists, veterinarians and economists.

10 Associates of Science and 2 Doctors of Science are permanently employed In the Company.

Process mechanization and automation

Up-to-date computer-operated equipment using the relevant software makes it possible to monitor the entire process and to manufacture products of the specified quality.

The height of the shop enables to run the process without additional lifting of raw materials and the finished product, thus preventing segregation of the components.

The product range

The basic function of the shop is production of premixes and other feed supplements in small packs for individual owners of animals, birds or furbearers.

Successful operation of the shop is supported with automation, high production standards, rigid control of the quality of raw materials and finished products, and skill and wide experience of employees. Permanent updating of existing equipment and commissioning of new equipment is going on. We offer to owners of animals a wide range of products in packs of 0.1 to 3 kg in various up-to-date packing. The volume of marketable products of the shop exceeds 5000 packs per shift and continues to grow.

CJSC Vitasol is the only company in Russia which guarantees 9-month shelf life of premixes packed in polymer or composition packs of up to 500 g net weight and produced on the basis of complex fillers using stable and low-aggressive forms of biologically active substances. This is a very essential advantage of our products.

International Sales Department

The mission of the International Sales (IS) Department is a search abroad for suppliers of high-quality raw materials for manufacture of own products and their sale in the international market.

Experts in customs clearance of goods, lawyers and translators are employed in the department who possess a wide range of knowledge in the field of international agreements on foreign trade, IS customs control, classification of goods for customs purposes, measures for IS tariff and non-tariff regulation, customs clearance of international traffic and IS currency exchange regulation. The department is also staffed with employees having special knowledge in the field of biochemistry and feeding of animals, veterinary medicine and feed production.

The Test Laboratory

CJSC Vitasol has a test laboratory accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025 system for qualitative assessment of feeds and biologically active substances.

The laboratory is equipped with up-to-date equipment. A room for storage of retention of raw material samples and manufactured products is available.

The laboratory staff consists of 12 persons who are trained periodically and certificated annually.

The laboratory employees identify mineral substances, vitamins, amino acids and other indicators at a high methodical level.

The Test Laboratory

The laboratory monitors mixing homogeneity of product components in a speedy fashion by several indicators that are essential for the process. Each lot of products passes the laboratory control according to specifications and engineering documentation.

All this makes it possible for us to control without delay the quality of delivered raw materials, manufactured products and the process.

At customers' request, a full zootechnic analysis of feeds is made. Based on the results of these analyses, formulations of balancing feed supplements are developed with reference to the conditions of the relevant farming units.

Department of Advertising and Scientific Support

The department is a link between the Company's business units and our customers. Based on the data of a chemical analysis of samples of feeds and rations, blood, milk, eggs, meat, liver and other components, formulations of balancing feed supplements are developed with reference to the conditions of the relevant farming units.

The department controls correctness and efficiency of using our products in feeding of animals. consults experts and makes adjustments to rations.

Collaboratively with other Company's business units, employees of the department participate in carrying out of research-and-production tests on animals and prepare [publications, reports and recommendations.

The Department of Product Advertising and Scientific Support uses its own mathematical model for calculation of bovine cattle's need in nutrient substances and energy in the specific animal feeding and management conditions.
