DESCRIPTION

In 2005, Ford launched an all new Mustang, marking the start of the 5th Generation of Mustangs. This new generation of Mustangs was designed to be faster, safer, and more agile. The new ’05 Mustang featured a retro look, echoing styling cues used on the early model Mustangs. It also featured a slightly larger body resulting in more interior room for the driver and any passengers. Ford also gave the new Mustangs a larger V8 motor made from aluminum to reduce weight. To match the exterior, the interior was completely redesigned with all new parts, including an industry first color configurable instrument panel and chrome accents. With this all-new model, Mustang sales climbed to more than 160,000 for 2005.
