WOOD TREATMENT AquaShield Wood Treatment is a highly durable water repellent impregna?on formula based on nano-‐polymer technology. The coa?ng is an easy to use mul?func?onal water based spray presen?ng a superior level of super hydrophobic and oleophobic proper?es for use on any raw untreated wood. Many exis?ng clear coat treatments for raw wood are environmentally hazardous requiring the use of strong solvent based chemicals, or rely on wax and oils which wear off quickly. AquaShield Wood Treatment provides years of protec?on from water, algae and mold, even UV bleaching with one easy applica?on. The coa?ng is water based, environmentally friendly and non-‐toxic.
Advancements in nanotechnology have made this combina?on of environmentally responsible and potent water repellent coa?ngs at reasonable prices possible. Although a simple spray on coa?ng, the AquaShield Wood Treatment can also be applied through rolling, or for smaller wooden items, by submerging the item in the formula. Coverage rates are ideal in the industry allowing for as liMle as 20ml per square meter of surface. The Wood Treatment is 100% transparent leaving no discolora?on, but will add a slight change to tone similar to the low gloss of a light wood stain. Visual results will vary dependent on wood type and hardness and it is suggested that a small area be tested prior to full treatment.
