6 CONTROL BOX, STOP BLOCK, MECH PNEUMATICSTOPBLOCK Pneumatically controlled and used in conjunction with a Push button or electrically operated control box, the STOP BLOCK DEVICE will allow the operator to SAFELY move the stop block up or down from a SAFE location, thusvisuallydirectingrailtraffic. The control box will send pressurised air to the double acting pneumatic actuator inside the stop block, causing the actuator to turn 90, switching the stop block arm in an up or down position. Once the valve has been switched, the arm will turn the oppositedirection. Painted yellow to increase visibility, an easily removable lid allows quick maintenance. All enclosure boxes are supplied with filter, lubricator and SAFETYlockoutvalve.Lockoutfeature allows the system to vent air, lock the systemfreefromairwithakeylockand allows SAFE maintenance to be done. The system comes with a risk assessment. CONTROLPANELBOXES Pushbuttonoperatedboxes This enclosure box will allow the operator to control the movement of rail change and stop block devices SAFELY. All boxes are painted orange to increase visibility and fitted with a 5/2 way Push button control valve, spring return or detent function (conversiontoelectricvalveoptional). Auto drain filter inside enclosures will remove dirt and water from air line. Lubricator ensures longer service life by providing lubrication into air line. 7 HANICAL & PNEUMATIC RAIL SWITCH CONTROL BOX STOP BLOCK RAIL SWITCH PNEUMATICRAILSWITCH Pneumatically controlled rail switch device, fitted with a double acting pneumatic cylinder will allow the operator to change the direction of the rail from a SAFE distance, allowing hoppers and moving cars to move SAFELYinthedesireddirection.
