Water, bacteria and sludge are the main issues causing higher than average fuel consump-tion. Contaminated diesel results in the engine missing, reduced fuel e�ciency, lack of power, excessive exhaust, engine knocking, hard start-ing, Water in the diesel also increases acid and sludge build up. Cleaning the fuel results in vastly improved combustion and ultimately vastly improved consumption. Depending on the condition of the diesel fuel and engine age the consumption improvements have been from 5% to 13% saving in fuel per year. Filter excedes new emission standards and complies with environmental laws.

Generator optimisation

The bene�ts of clean oil and fuel are irrefutable in the reduction in consumption and machine life. Installation on existing generators

The system can be factory �tted or �eld installed to existing generators The system does NOT required highly skilled personal to install. A complete installation takes about 20 minutes. The system is delivered as a complete kit with all components required to complete an installation. The “ease of installation” design is one of the systems bene�ts in a market where time and resources come at a premium.

Keeping oil and fuel clean extends the overall generator life; OEM �lters neither have the capacity or �ne �ltration capabilities (+10 micron) to provide adequate �ltration beyond 250 hrs. Filtek removes contaminants down to 1 micron and keeps the harmful particles out of the engine and extending the overall life cycle.

Filter size counts

The standard paper oil and fuel �lters are about 2mm thick and �lter down to about 10-30 microns in particle size. Filtek oil �ltration systems have several hundred times the surface area and density conventional spin-on �lters. Filtek �lters the oil and fuel down to 1 micron in size thereby protecting the engine. Removes particulate between1 and 3μ including emulsi�ed sludge and mois-ture (water).
