Work from written and verbal instructions to properly apply paint to required part surfaces.

Use thinners to mix paint to proper consistency.Prepare parts for painting as required.As required, use overhead hoist to move and position parts in painting enclosure.Set and adjust paint spray nozzle and direct paint spray onto desired surfaces.Exercise care to prevent paint from being applied to undesired surfaces.Review paint finish for any defects, oil unpainted machined surfaces.Perform assigned tasks. Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skillsUse and wear personal protective equipment as indicated by the task or

environment. Perform basic counting tasksInspect parts for grinding, welding, sanding, and buffingDistinguish between different parts for sanding, buffing, flattening, and

grinding. Hear safety alarms and other co-workersUse and control work tools. Follow orders from supervisors and other

co-workers. Assist co-workers with lifting parts to designated areasClean spray gun and compressor rig periodically.

Change paint booth filters as required. Detect defective material, unusual conditions, operating difficulties and report to supervisor.Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition. Skills Overview:

Able to lift items 70 lbs. safely.Knowledge of use of fiberglass and plastic auto body fillers and the mixing technique.Knowledge of fiberglass repair resin mixing use of fiberglass matting and related products.Use of air and hand powered pop rivet guns for repairs.Knowledge of checking windows for water penetration and seal these leaks.Replacement of windshield wipers.Replacement of broken or cracked glass and plastic windows and windshields.Troubleshooting moving mechanisms and determinating whether it’s a damaged motor faulty wiring.Removal and replacement of sealed beams, broken blinker housings, broken reflectors etc.Knowledge of all grits of sandpaper and grinding discs for proper use and optimal results.Knowledge of all types of masking tapes and masking paper for paint overspray protection.Knowledge and proper fit of facemask usage for spraypainting and cleaning of mask and storage.Knowledge of making damage estimates for odering proper replacement parts and costs.Good communication skills with information necessary with other depts. in the shop (mechanics,electricians,offices etc.)Knowledge of careful application of decals, stripes, labels.Knowledge of safe removal of body mouldings and trims without breaking clips.

Paint lines: Knowledge of paints application techniques (Textured style finish too) and various different types of paint lines and different styles and sizes of spray booths.

Quality Control: Before starting to paint any manufactured product I look over the welds (to catch any missing welds), missing drilled holes or tapped holes, etc.

Metal surface prepping: Clean welds and weld debris, Wash off dirt, oils off product to be painted, masking areas with tape that not need painting and plug tapped holes that not need painting.

Knowledge of paint mixing ratios: Mixing primers and paints following mixing ratios properly for quality finish cure and drying time.Paint finish Quality: The finished painted product must look perfect. Free from paint runs, paint sags, light spots and surface dirt. Painted manufactured product must be ready for shipping.Inventory keeping: Knowledge in keeping a paint inventory and reordering supplies.Safety MSDS sheets: Knowledge of where the Material Safety Data sheets are located and proper use of all safety equipment and maintenance (spray mask, gloves, safety glasses, steel toe boots etc.)Forklift operation and overhead crane: Safe use of forklift truck in the company and the overhead cranes as necessary.Spray paint equipment clean up and proper maintenance and care- I value a spray gun in excellent working condition for a quality finish and to prevent rework time. I clean all paint equipment and clean spray guns thoroughly and clean the work area at the end of the day or before the next shift starts.Paint usage log keeping for E.P.A: Knowledge in writing down on a paint usage sheet the amount of paint mixed, paint sprayed,and paint waste storage for the day according to zoning standards and E.P,A standards.Hazardous waste disposal: I have experience in proper paint waste disposal, storage and labeling of hazardous waste containers.

Forklift & overhead crane operation. Binks HVLP and conventional, Devilbiss, Graco brand spray

gun operation disassembly for cleaning and assembly, paint pressure pots (2 thru 5 gal), fluid hoses and etc.

Airless spray systems. Powder painting equipment. Mix and Match paints. Safety Standards and First Aid responder training. Sherwin Williams Paints. DuPont Paints. Hentzen coatings. DTM paints. Dual action sanders (orbital sanders).

Thread retapping tools. Grinding and Finishing metal. Air powered and electric power tools (grinders etc.) Plasma torch cutting equipment. Spot welding equipment. Some wirefed MIG welding. All Powder coating equipment. (Powder coating booth

maintenance and clean up.) Operation of sandblasting machines for metal preparation for
