Paint lines: Knowledge of paints application techniques (Textured style finish too) and various different types of paint lines and different styles and sizes of spray booths.

Quality Control: Before starting to paint any manufactured product I look over the welds (to catch any missing welds), missing drilled holes or tapped holes, etc.

Metal surface prepping: Clean welds and weld debris, Wash off dirt, oils off product to be painted, masking areas with tape that not need painting and plug tapped holes that not need painting.

Knowledge of paint mixing ratios: Mixing primers and paints following mixing ratios properly for quality finish cure and drying time.Paint finish Quality: The finished painted product must look perfect. Free from paint runs, paint sags, light spots and surface dirt. Painted manufactured product must be ready for shipping.Inventory keeping: Knowledge in keeping a paint inventory and reordering supplies.Safety MSDS sheets: Knowledge of where the Material Safety Data sheets are located and proper use of all safety equipment and maintenance (spray mask, gloves, safety glasses, steel toe boots etc.)Forklift operation and overhead crane: Safe use of forklift truck in the company and the overhead cranes as necessary.Spray paint equipment clean up and proper maintenance and care- I value a spray gun in excellent working condition for a quality finish and to prevent rework time. I clean all paint equipment and clean spray guns thoroughly and clean the work area at the end of the day or before the next shift starts.Paint usage log keeping for E.P.A: Knowledge in writing down on a paint usage sheet the amount of paint mixed, paint sprayed,and paint waste storage for the day according to zoning standards and E.P,A standards.Hazardous waste disposal: I have experience in proper paint waste disposal, storage and labeling of hazardous waste containers.
