2013 KIA SORENTO

The Kia Sorento enters its third generation with an all-new model for 2014. It features a new chassis, a redesigned cabin and new engines. Kia says the new, stiffer chassis improves handling, while a revised front suspension design is claimed to improve ride comfort.

The Sorento's revamped base 2.4-liter four-cylinder generates 191 horsepower (about a 10 percent increase from the current engine) and 181 pound-feet of torque. The new 3.3-liter V6, meanwhile, makes 290 hp and 252 lb-ft of torque. Both engines join a six-speed automatic transmission in standard front-wheel-drive configuration or optional all-wheel drive.
