What is MBBM™
•The most accurate technology to monitor batteries and electrical systems.
- Batteries are “profiled” then a virtual model is created to compare to. - As the battery is charged, discharged, and as it ages the State of Health (SOH) changes. - The MBBM™ compares the current SOH to the profiled SOH and calculates battery life.
•Additional benefits of MBBM™ technology and the information received from the electrical system are enhanced diagnostic and prognostic capabilities for other electrical components, such as alternators and starters.
•Vanner MBBM™ assures that the low voltage batteries stay at the optimum SOH throughout their entire life cycle. Low voltage battery life is extended.
•Combining the Vann-Bus Equalizer with MBBM and the HBA also allows access to the low voltage battery power in extreme conditions …

voltage 24V / 12V batteries

•The CAN communication between the HBA and Vann-Bus Equalizer allows the low voltage batteries to provide power in addition to the HBA output, for extreme loads, for short periods
• The CAN communication assures that the low voltage batteries will be recharged quickly for the next extreme power cycle.

Unlike alternators the Vann-Bus Power Management System is able to control
and adjust the low voltage battery charging at start-up.
The spike in power circled is the result of the alternator
“dumping” energy into partially discharged batteries at start-up.
The Vann-Bus equalizer adjusts the HBA output to
control the battery recharging, improves
battery life, and reduces unnecessary energy use.
