Preliminary task…As you can see my preliminary task was extremely basic, created using Microsoft Word with one colour (green) only a few fonts and one copy and pasted image.

I feel I have progressed massively, leaning how to use Adobe Photoshop being my biggest achievement.

I can now cut, edit, manipulate, transform and all in all change image to look professional as well as manipulate backgrounds and text/font as well as create boxes, puff and pugs etc.

My magazine shows a complete transformation in the skill I have obtained over the last 5months and I have progressed massively.

Comparison…

• As you can see there is a vast improvement from my preliminary task compared to my final front cover of my magazine. I have leaned so many different new skills like: how to cut out a photo, how to edit and image (brightness, contrast, colour levels etc.) how to place images, free transform images, use the brush, fix, select, stamp tools and the list could continues. • Here are some examples of the techniques I have learnt

and how my skills have transformed. • I have learnt to use software's such as WordPress, Prezi,

Voki, YouTube and so on and this has benefitted me massively by enabling me to present my findings in a more creative way.

• Here you can see, the transformation between the background, masthead and image of my front cover. It has changed massively, from when I started as I included, background effects, an image glow and a completely different masthead so that it fitted in with my chosen indie genre.

• These images show the editing process of how I changed the brightness and the contrast of the image so that it had a more professional look and fitted in better with my chosen indie genre. The yellow and orange colours of the leave and the coats of my models coincide brilliantly and represent the kind of colours I wished to feature in my final magazine.
