Everyday Classic Car Models Some other everyday classic car
models are produced by GM. Some of these car include the Corvette,
the Camaro, and the Firebird. GM encompasses four different
nameplates including: Pontiac GMC Chevrolet Cadillac
The Corvette, Camaro, & Firebird The Camaro was first made
in 1966 and was GMs answer to the Ford Mustang. One year later, the
Firebird was manufactured. The Corvette is one classic car that is
just as popular as the Ford Mustang, if not more so. It was made in
1952 and it was also the first American car to be fuel
injected.
The Ford Thunderbird The first model of the classic Thunderbird
was made in 1955. Over 16,000 were sold, making it still readily
available today. Though it is still a classic muscle car, it was
advertised as a luxury car when it was first produced.
More Popular Classic Cars from GM More classic cars from GM
include the Chevelle, the Chevy II, and the Nova. All of these cars
were produced in the 60s around the same time or within a few years
of each other. At least one of them can be found on many classic
car must- have lists.
Classic Chrysler Cars Chrysler also makes quite a few classic
car lists with a variety of muscle cars. One of the most popular
models is the Charger. The first models are hard to find, but
subsequent models are much easier to collect.
Rare vs. Common Classic Cars Classic car collectors might have
one or two rare cars, but most find more common cars to add to
their compilation. One of the main reasons for this is price and
availability. For many people, easier-to-find models are enough if
theyre in good condition for a reasonable price.
Collecting Classic Cars Collecting classic cars is a favorite
American pastime for many people. Some collectors choose to find
cars made by the same manufacturer, while others branch out into
different car companies and prefer to own a wide selection of
models and types.
