BMW R 1200 GS : The standard among adventure bikes

It is the adventure legend defining the whole class of adventure motorbikes in the previous decade; the ruler as it soon become the BMW best-selling worldwide.

BMW motorbike was Launched in 2004

The bike was launched in 2004 and with better control and performance the motorbike replaced BMW R1150GS, its previous model and proved its superiority as it was 66 lbs lighter than R1150GS. With a horsepower of 100bhp it soon become famous world as it was the best-selling BMW motorbike for many years.

BMW motorrad upgraded the model with some advance features to keep its superiority in the adventure arena. ABS (Anti-lock braking system) was including giving the rider the pure safety, confidence and more control over the motorbike.

The plus feature was an embedded ESA II (electronic suspension adjustment) was provided for a better experience. The bike atomically responses to the change in tracks and adjust the control accordingly.

In 2010 upgrade double head camshaft was included that increases the redline limit of the bike to 8500 rpm (rotation per minute). Additional horsepower was added by water-cooling effect in the bike.
