Auto Expo-The Motor Show2016 floor space sold out
New Delhi, July 15, 2015:Society for Indian Automobile Manufactures today announced that the entire floor space has been sold out at the largest automotive event in the country despite having more than 7,000 sqmts.extra space than last year. Jointly organized by– Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Auto Expo- The Motor Show will be held atIndia Exposition Mart Ltd.in February 2016.
It will be a comprehensive show with OEMs participating across segments to showcase Cars, MUVs/SUVs, Two Wheelers, Three Wheelers, Special Vehicles, Concept Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles (Trucks & Buses), Vintage Cars, Super Cars and Bikes etc. Additional demonstrations at Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2016 will comprise of Tires and Tubes, Oil Companies, Automotive Design and Technology, Engineering and IT for Automobile Companies, Institutions, Universities, Financial Institutions, Auto Insurance Companies, and Media& Auto Publications.
Announcing the development for the Auto Expo, Mr. Vishnu Mathur, Director General, SIAM, said, “We are delighted to have successfully sold out the space for the upcoming Motor show. The event has been giving unique opportunity to both indigenous and international vehicle manufacturers
to put forth their upcoming products and technologies on a global platform. This time we expect the show to become bigger, better and more exciting.”
The total indoor exhibition area this time has increased from around 42,000 sqm in 2014 to over 50,000 sqm in 2016, which is almost a 20% growth. In the 2016 edition, there will be more than 40 vehicle manufacturers including more than 22 passenger and commercial vehicles. More than 18 two &three wheeler manufacturers will display their vehicles including electric vehicles.
