What have you learnt about technologies from

the process of constructing this product?

I used all the programs above from start to finish to complete my music magazine to the best quality possible. I have used Adobe Photoshop and InDesign for the production of magazine and used WordPress, Prezi and Slideshare for the distribution on the blog along with the production of the evaluation.

I have gained a large amount of confidence using these programs and has allowed me to experiment with more in depth, creative methods that I would never have been able to achieve without the understanding I have gained from doing this course.

You’ll be able to see the stark contrast in creativity and refinement from my original attempts to my final product. This was only possible after gaining knowledge and experience with these programs.

InDesign• I had never used InDesign before the course and my

inexperience was clearly shown through my early attempts. However as time progressed I began to understand the flow and rules of creating a professional looking magazine. I was able to create the ideas in my head after I learnt the skills InDesign offers.

Photoshop• I have had a little experience with Photoshop before

the course started and thanks to Photography, I was able to confidently use the program to enhance the photos taken. I was also more aware of camera settings and composition which definitely shone through on my DPS where the text flows around the models body. I intended to do this whilst I took the shots so I was able to manipulate the image to fit this.

Word Press

• At the beginning of this course I had never maintained a blog or had used Word Press. I struggled at first with so many lists and options, but now I can confidently include video, questionnaires and other outside sourced media. I am able to maintain and show developing ideas through my blog. It has been a great piece of technology for evidencing my ideas and progression through the course.

Prezi and SlideShare• These programs/sites have been used

to display my evaluation in a creative and unique way. They have helped me create diverse forms of showing the information.

Conclusion• To conclude, I have learnt a large

amount on how to handle and produce material using a number of different programs. I have also gained the skills to not only produce but display my work in a professional and engaging way.
