Welcome back to the Night Legacy! In the last chapter, Drusilla grew into a teen, Celestia’s hair

turned pink, Marceline grew into a child, Lestat met a mysterious girl, and Drusilla went out for

her first night on the town!

In this chapter, we begin with the very pink Celestia studying her magic book.

Page 3: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

The very green Marceline is thinking about her dad.

“My dad rocks.”

Thankfully, you have a better relationship with your father than your namesake.

Page 4: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Ha! Another snowman! This one’s name is Crowley!”

Page 5: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Meanwhile, at the front of the house, Keika’s Vesuvius White is stealing the paper.

“Ha! Stealing the newspaper! So evil!”

Page 6: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Hey, you get back here! That’s our paper!”

“What have you got there, Max?”

“I...think he left us a tip.”

Page 7: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“I’m telling you! She just showed up and then she disappeared!”

“Yeah, right!”

“It’s true!”

“Lestat, stop making stuff up and play the game! I’m gonna kick your butt!”

“Oh, you’re going down, Marcy!”

Page 8: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Oh, no, is that Crowley? Who destroyed Crowley? I hope it wasn’t Vis! Destroying a child’s

snowman really is evil!

Page 9: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

MARSHA! NO! GO AWAY!

“Why? I didn’t do anything!”

Oh, but you will! You will...! BEGONE!

Page 10: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Lila and Jess have been spending their senior years constantly together. They flirt and dance and

cuddle. They make a lovely old couple.

Page 11: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Tom, get out of the way! I can’t see the screen!”

“Go, Marceline! You are the greatest!”

“Marceline!”

“Heeheehehee!”

“Mom! Marceline’s cheating!”

“Marcy, cheating is bad. Now, I’m trying to study.”

Grade A parenting, Cel.

Page 12: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

But enough of Cel being a lazy parent, we have another birthday!

Page 13: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Yay! I can’t wait to be a teenager!”

Dru, why are you in your pajamas?

“Snow day.”

Ah.

Page 14: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Lila, you too? Or were you just sleeping? Oh, well, let’s spin and see what we’ve got!

Page 15: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Oh, wow, I’m hot!”

How can you tell with your eyes closed?

Page 16: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Well, I wouldn’t say hot, but you’re definitely not bad at all. You’re a very good mix of your

parents, though I think you’re mostly Max.

Lestat is a Family/Popularity sim who wants to be an Education Minister when he grows up. I

realize I forgot Dru’s aspirations, but I will name hers and Marcy’s when they go to college.

Page 17: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Hey, Jess.

“Hey.”

It’s getting towards the end, isn’t it?

“Yeah.”

I just wanted to say...you’ve been an awesome sim. I don’t regret choosing you as co-founder.

“Thanks. I don’t either.”

Page 18: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Lestat is following in his uncle’s footsteps and becoming a drummer. Tom and Marcy decided to

dance along. Let me tell you, kids dancing is the most adorable thing ever.

Page 19: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Marcy, it’s freezing outside! What are you doing in those clothes?

“Lestat’s a teen now! He’s bigger and stronger than me! I have to even the playing field!”

Well, as long as you’re having fun.

Page 20: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Jess and Lila are spending all the time they can together, Cel is hobby idling, I think Max is

helping one of the kids with the telescope, Tom is off, and Marcy is going to get a bath.

All-in-all, an ordinary night for the Night family.

Page 21: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Marcy, what are you doing?

“You’ve outlived your usefulness, Dante!”

Page 22: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“*battle cry*”

Page 23: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“That was fun!”

Page 24: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“And this is what I’ll do to Lestat if he tries to noogie me!”

Page 25: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“*battle cry*”

Page 26: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Ha! Take that, Lestat!”

Well, at least we know now that Vis is innocent.

Page 27: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Wow, no snow day?

“No. *sigh* It’s not fair.”

Well, you have to go to school sometime.

“I guess. At least I’m awesome.”

Always a silver lining!

Page 28: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

I think Jess is trying to Smustle in this picture. Either that or she’s remembering her cat burglar

days. We may never know.

Page 29: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“This painting sucks!”

She also hates Celestia’s work.

Page 30: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Mama, Jessica hates my painting!”

“That’s too bad, dear. Need to concentrate!”

Page 31: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

At least Lila always has time for her wife.

Page 32: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“I totally dissed Celestia’s painting.”

“I know. I saw.”

You guys are kind of awful.

Page 33: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Teen homework sucks!”

Too bad, Lestat. You have to do it.

“You suck!”

Get back to work.

Page 34: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

It’s nearing the end. Jess decides to go out playing the bass with Dru.

Page 35: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Yes! A+!”

Page 36: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Dad! Dad, look at my report card!”

“Mm-hm, that’s nice, dear.”

Max! You’re usually the good parent!

Page 37: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Marcy also brought Clark home. Celestia’s at work, so they’re free to rock out.

Page 38: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“*sigh*”

Hey, Lila. How ya doin’?

“It’s tonight, isn’t it?”

Yeah.

“I’m not looking forward to it.”

I don’t think any of us are.

Page 39: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Almost six.

Page 40: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Jessica, I just wanted to say...it’s been an honor to know you.”

“Thanks, Max. Ditto. Celestia couldn’t have done better.”

“Thanks. I appreciate it.”

Page 41: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Wait a minute.

Page 42: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Merry, what are you doing out of the dungeon?

“You have no control over me off the lot.”

It figures. The moment there’s death on the legacy lot, Merry appears.

Latimeria “Merry” White is from Keika’s White Legacy.

Page 43: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Hi, I’m Drusilla!”

“Merry. Charmed.”

Dru, no! She’s evil!

Page 44: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Wait, what?”

“Hmph! Like you know anything.”

Page 45: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

R.I.P. Jessica Night.

I actually missed Jess’s death. Six o’ clock rolled around and Jess’s tab didn’t disappear and

Grimmy didn’t appear. I figured it was just a day early and went to go see what was happening

out front. It turned out to be a glitch and by the time I noticed her tab was missing, the whole

thing was over.

Oops.

Page 46: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Jess...what to say about you?

When I started, I thought Ben Long would be my co-founder, but then, literally by chance, I got

a burglar instead. You didn’t have the recessive genes I wanted, but I could not be happier with

the kids you helped make, even Orion. Sorry Luna wasn’t heir, but she is still an awesome sim

and so were you. You were a lot of fun to play. Rest in peace.

Page 47: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

And so, alone in the snow, Jess’s grave starts the family graveyard.

I’m gonna miss her.

Page 48: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Hello? Are you even listening to me?!”

“Um, one of my grandmothers just died...”

“So?”

Stay classy, Merry.

Page 49: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Lila, you okay?

“My wife just died and nobody noticed! Not even you!”

I’m so sorry about that. It was an accident.

“I don’t care!”

I’ll just leave you alone...

Page 50: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Please, don’t cry, Grandma Lila. I’m so sorry about Grandma Jessica. I’m going to miss her.”

“Oh, thank you, Lestat. You’re such a good boy.”

Page 51: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“So, sorry about your wife being dead and stuff.”

“Oh, thank you.”

“I mean, you’re pretty old, so you’re probably not long for this world yourself, but still.”

Page 52: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Dammit, Merry!

“What?”

Page 53: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Not cool!”

“What did I do?”

“You have insulted the matriarch of this house. You should leave. Now.”

“Bite me, Wall-E.”

Page 54: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

Dru, you’re leaving?

“Yeah. I think it’s time. Lestat’s a teenager, so he can help look after Marcy. They don’t need

me.”

I guess that’s true. Still, I’m going to miss having you around the house.

“Yeah, I’ll miss everyone too.”

Page 55: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“*sniff* Jess is gone and now, Drusilla is leaving. Can this night get any worse?”

It’s just time for her to grow up, Lila. It’s a natural part of Sim life.

“I suppose you’re right.”

“Look, Sparky, I ain’t leaving!”

Merry, go away.

Page 56: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Goodbye, Drusilla! Have a good semester and be sure to take care of yourself!”

“Thanks, Grandma Lila.”

Page 57: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Ha! Now, I’m the oldest kid in the house!”

“Don’t let it go to your head, Lestat.”

Page 58: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

And so, on a cold winter’s night, Drusilla Night set off for college.

Page 59: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Drusilla, wait! Keep warm, don’t forget to study, and be sure to get enough to eat! Your mother

and I love you!”

“Love you too, Max!”

Page 60: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“So, do you think she’ll become a doctor?”

“That girl could probably be anything if she put her mind to it.”

“I’m gonna be a monster hunter!”

“Pfft, sure you are, Marcy.”

“Shut up, Lestat!”

Page 61: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Ugh, that Max is so boring. Why would anyone marry him?”

“I don’t like you.”

“Oh, no, whatever shall I do? Scram, pipsqueak!”

“Someday, lady. Someday.”

Page 62: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“I’m home! Mom? Jessica? Max? Kids?”

Um, Cel, there’s something you should know.

“...What did I miss?”

Page 63: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“So. I heard you insulted my mother and most of my family.”

“Why does everyone keep acting like I did? I told her I’m sorry her wife was dead and that she’ll

probably join her soon anyway. It’s not my fault everyone got their panties in a twist over it!”

Page 64: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

“Get out.”

Page 65: The Night Legacy: Chapter 9

And that’s Chapter 9! Yay!

What will happen next chapter? Will Marceline grow up into a teenager? Will Lestat see his

mystery girl again? Will I write the chapter within a reasonable time-frame? These questions will

probably be answered in the next chapter of the Night Legacy! See you then!
