Message by SVP Susan Ringol

Cheers!! Let’s welcome the year 2010 with a Bang! After a joyful holiday with our loved ones, it’s time to go back to our pending projects and start new ones. I am already halfway through my term and I thank God for His guidance and blessings. Thanks to all of you as well for your support in our projects. Before we move further, let us look back and see what we have accomplished together, shall we? I have posted here some pictures of our activities as I’m sure you would love to view them as well… Just before the year ended we received a generous donation from Mr & Mrs. Newmann which we used for our last project for 2009- Gift Giving to indigent children. PE Ana, with the assistance of Rtn Au, volunteered to take charge in the preparation of the Christmas packages. She also donated some old clothes while PN Nilda & PP Maricel brought some toys and old clothes to add to the loot bags. PP Wally sent also some toys and with additional coloring books and crayons we completed the packages for the more than 250 beneficiaries at He Cares Foundation. PP Sessie and her daughter Lei joined us in the distribution on Dec 13, 2009. PP Al begged off but pledged a donation for this project. The children were more than happy to see us with their loot bags in tow. There are so much more we could do, so let us continue this Selfless Service for the Future of Rotary is in Your Hands.…
