Spirals represent life and death.
• His art theory is called "Transautomatism”. It is amodern style of painting, founded byFriedensreich Hundertwasser. Different peoplesee different things in the same picture. Theartist's intention is not important, therefore, what is important is how the people interpret it.Transautomatism is about Hundertwasser'stheory that straight lines are not good becausethey don’t exist in nature. Humans have lostconnection with nature, and live in boxes ashouses.
WINDOW RIGHTS
• Between 1969 and 1971 he lived in his boat and there he developed his theory on the “WINDOW RIGHTS”.
• He thinks that people should be able to change their houses and design them. Design the piece of wall that can be reached by pulling the arm from the window.
• So cities do not seem prisons with grey squares buildings.
TREE TENANTS
• He thinks that nature has to grow free everywherewhere rain and snow falls, so the buildings are alsogrowing nature.
