We hope to film most of the video in a room with 4 basic

walls maybe white walls (as the video goes on the walls

will deteriorate). The main character will be a skin head

mental patient (teenage). The video at the moment will

be narrative. The video will consist of the devil

attempting to enter the patients room, his safe heaven,

and try to influence the teenage boy to kill himself.

Lucifer.

The basis of the video will be different to the ,ove

though because instead of God trying to kill the

patient, the devil “Lucifer” is trying to get into the

room and into the patient. Lucifer will be represented

in the video through various wall drawing and

potentially some sort of medication as well as a self

portrait the patient may draw.

Van Gough

Van Gough’s art will also be an influence in parts of

the video. Van Gough also ended upon a mental

asylum and killed himself just like the movie.

Potentially we will use his art in terms of religion.

How we represent religion

We hope to add subtlety to our video when we use

religious references. We will use a lot of Latin carved

into the wall as the Lucifer infection grows deeper.

Symbols and red lighting/ smoke can also be used.

Society’s relationship with

teenage mental health.

In society today we still don’t understand mental

health illnesses, especially in teenagers. This video

we hope will kind of dress that matter and force the

viewers to witness someone with a mental illness.
