Easter is the oldest and the most important religous holiday in Poland.

It commemorates the resurrection of Christ. On the Easter Sunday, the whole family

sits down to breakfast together. We eat dishes such as sausage, soup

"żur", pate, cake "babka" and "mazur".We haveThe tradition of sharing the blessed

Eggs with the others.

On second day of Easter we have a special day. It name is "Lany poniedziałek„ and it means „Wet Monday”

of a loved one and light a candle.
