Original Feedback from Mr Steele – first design

POSITIVE

There is consistency throughout all four panels

Great visual effects

Establishes star image effectively

Has a symbolic link with the video using the powders.

Likes the colour schemes

NEGATIVE

The dimensions aren’t all the same throughout each panel

The text is hard to see

Doesn’t like the 2nd panel – would prefer if the design would fill the whole panel instead of being cropped into a circular design.

Our Actions

This feedback from Mr Steele was form our original design with Leah as our actor. Since then we have decided to change our design using our new actor.

Recently we have taken new portrait images ready to create a new digipak.

We have also taken on board Mr Steele’s feedback, deciding to make our new advert on a better software called Photoshop.

Lastly, when redesigning our digipak we weren’t sure on how to design our 2nd panel, therefore we sent out a new questionnaire to 50 of our target audience asking them what design they preferred. Either in a circular design or filling the whole panel.

Results Results showed that:

18 people chose design 1

32 people chose design 2

From these results we decided that we were going to use our second design as this was the one that the majority of our target audience preferred.
