Different Types of Aerial Photography
Aerial video photography and aerial photography are two important areas of
photography that have become quite popular in the recent times. More and more
inventions are coming up to provide a great aerial view of the area of which the pictures
are shot.
Kite Aerial Photography
One of the most inexpensive ways of clicking aerial photos is by flying kites with
camera in them. This method has been in existence for quite some time now and
produces dramatic images which can be used for several purposes. Though it provides
many advantages in terms of less cost and less set up arrangements.
Balloon Aerial Photography
This is another great way of taking the camera to a level from where great pictures can
be captured. Unlike kite aerial photography, this method has the advantages of being
protected from rain. However, during windy situation capturing photographs becomes
difficult. In various parts of the world, this method is used and preferred by many as it
is low impact.
Helicopter Aerial photography
In this method a helicopter is used to take dramatic and clear images or shoot clear
videos of the area which is required. Mostly used in the film industry, this medium has
the advantages of being flexible while capturing certain moments as the helicopter can
be adjusted to click just the right image that you want. Though the method has lot of
advantages, the most disadvantages of this method are it produces lot of noise which
may be a cause of disturbance to the public.
Radio controlled Aerial photography
In this method a remote controlled helicopter is used to take videos or photographs of
the total area. It is a very effective and economical method, in which there is more
control and responsibility of the situation. To produce best aerial photography by
