The Sherlocks - Live for the moment This is a potential song choice as it fits within the indie rock genre and the band itself are made up of four young boys which we want in our band music video. The song is not extremely well known but would be known to individuals who suit the indie rock genre. There is also no significant music video, so we wouldn’t be competing with an excising one

The wombats- lets dance to joy divisionThis song is relatively well known within the indie rock genre and the band itself is made up of 4 individuals which we could replicate easily, however, they do have a music video which is significant to the song therefore we might struggle coming up with a video to compete with it.

The hunna – you & me The hunna is a new rising band made up of four males which is easily replicable. The song itself fits well in the indie rock genre with no real video that would cause any issues when coming up with ideas for our own. Due to the fact that the band is newly popular, their main audience would be people who are complete fans of the genre instead of those who enjoy ‘pop music’.

The Sherlocks – escapadeThis song is a potential song choice as it is upbeat and we feel after listening to the song we would be able to fit in a lot of different skills in time to the music. The band is very ‘up and coming’ so there is only a small fan base of people who recognise the indie rock genre. There is also a clear back story to the song which would work in out favour if we decided to incorporate any narrative into the music video.

The stypes – eighty-fourEighty-four would be a good potential song due to the fact that it is very fast pacing which would enable us to incorporate a lot of different skills into the music video. The band is popular within the indie rock genre with clear 80s rock influences which we hope to incorporate. The song would be perfect for a performance based video which we as a group are interested in making.
