In the first step, problems can be identified and human thinking can be put into action to identify the solution. The idea will be tested on the real grounds, matched with the feasibility of executing it. Once the demand of the idea is verified, it will go for scientific conceptualizing and later towards the concept development. Subsequent steps include verification of the idea to assess the parameters. Then it will go for production and then marketing and sales. This idea is slightly different from the linear model of innovation, being used in scientific studies for centuries. Though different, there is no denial about similarity of this model with certain element of liner method of innovation. Pros with proposed model of innovation, TMSCP - The modification for the process exists at every step. - There are check points in each step, giving possibility to validate the idea every time. - The decision making on innovation is slightly easier. - The model is flexible in the approach and suitable for the current environment. - It is mostly applicable in technological innovations. - It can be adopted to modify the existing innovations. - The free thinking at each stage offers collaborative working. Liner model of innovation cannot fit for the new 21st century fast paced, technological driven life. Therefore a new model of innovation which comprise of different factors is necessary. Linear model of innovation is unable to change quickly and the gate keeping mechanism delay the duration of the innovation. Therefore, I like to propose a model on the agile methodology and long term thinking. I call this model as, TMSCP (Think – Match – Select – Conceptualized- Produce)

Futuristic innovative thinking matching with the demand scientific conceptualizing Concept/prototype development Concept verification Production Marketing Sales

In this model, I am suggesting the model for improving the current technologies or developing the new ones on a long term basis.

Pros with proposed model of innovation, TMSCP

- The modification for the process exists at every step.- There are check points in each step, giving possibility to validate the idea every time.- The decision making on innovation is slightly easier.- The model is flexible in the approach and suitable for the current environment.- It is mostly applicable in technological innovations.- It can be adopted to modify the existing innovations.- The free thinking at each stage offers collaborative working.

Cons with proposed model of innovation, TMSCP

- Cannot work for all types of innovation, especially in the technical industry where through testing is needed.

- Innovations require large scale collaboration cannot proceed with this model.- Verification and decision making at each stage can delay the process of innovation.- Innovation which requires long time to reach the finishing stage does not fit in this model. - This model involves free thinking at each stage, which may not be possible in certain

cultures.
