DR.A P J ABDUL KALAM

Missile Man of India

• Graduated in physics in 1954 from Saint Joseph's College, Tiruchirappalli.

• Graduated in Aerospace Engineering in 1960 from MIT – Chennai.

• As Scientist in Aeronautical Development Establishment of Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO)

• As the 11th President of India from 25 July 2002 to 25 July 2007.

Roles performed by him in his career life

IMPORTANT MILESTONES IN HIS CAREER

• Appointed as the Chief Executive Of  Integrated Guided Missile Development Program (I.G.M.D.P).

• He was honored with “Bharat Ratna” from Government of India in 1997.

• He won the 2002 presidential election with an electoral vote of 922,884, surpassing 107,366 votes won by Lakshmi Sahgal.

role in making Agni Missile which put Pakistan and China In our range.

He thought more about common Indian and rural areas and give importance to youth.

country was awesome during his period as president.

He gave more new innovative ideas and things in the aerospace engineering.

India need him back again as a president now.
