Business Objects server are used for
your workflow
• Don’t know in advance which server
will be used – e.g. which specific
WebIntelligence Processing Server

End to End (E2E) Tracing with BI 4.x
What is End to End tracing
Advantages of End to End tracing
Disadvantages
The problematic workflow has to be known
Must be an internet browser based workflow e.g. not WebIntelligence Rich Client
Activities through browser add-ons are not traced (e.g. Java Applets/Flash such as Monitoring)
Works only with Internet Explorer 8-11
Don’t need to know which servers are used
Minimum amount of trace generated
Log include only the relevant tracing
Trace schedules (schedules created with E2E
tracing enabled will trace activity when
running)
Logs include a unique reference (the Business
Transaction ID) linking individual workflows
through multiple Business Objects server
traces
