• About OLPC •  One Laptop per Child (OLPC) is a global not-for-profit organisation

empowering children through education since 2005 •  At the heart of OLPC’s work is the XO laptop, a low-cost custom-made device

for children •  Over 2.5 million children and teachers have XO laptops worldwide

• OLPC Australia •  Deployed 7,400 XOs since launching in 2009 •  Funded by DEEWR to deploy 50,000 XOs by June 2014

•  A team of Salesforce engineers worked with OLPC’s Operations Manager to define data model and implement basic customisation

•  OLPC then engaged with Clouding Around to continue the project

• Technology •  Sales Cloud licenses + Vertical response + Cloud Factor •  Fundraising for tracking partnerships and sponsorships •  Marketing for website integration, email campaigns and events •  Sales and logistics for tracking school activity and XO shipments •  Education team for managing teacher training enrollments and course progress •  Reports and Dashboards for DEEWR reporting
