Offshoots•Offshoots is Lancashire’s most successful Permaculture project
•The site is based in the walled garden of Towneley Hall in Burnley
•It has been in existence since 1997
•The project develops and promotes sustainable and environmentally-friendly ways of living
•We work with schools, colleges, public bodies, industry, visitors and volunteers of all ages and abilities
It started with a derelict Council Compound and a caravan
By 2007 it had achieved its current layout
In November 2011 it won Bronze in the International Green Awards hosted at the Natural History Museum
