• inform communicate, listen so people can report problems to test the temperature for feedback to show people what your area looks like to answer problems to tell people that you don’t just do waste collection for grit alerts for crisis comms to show people you are human for every day things road closures medical advice fire alerts safety messages tide warnings, health warnings, for Q&A sessions, for driving traffic for showing pictures for praise for engagement for telling people you carry out noise tests on cockerels at 6am for FOI requests for press releases for blogs for reminding people, for telling people useful things, for letting them know,
