Podcast: (from “iPod” and “Broadcasting”) A method of publishing audio files to the Internet for playback on mobile devices and personal computers.

Equipment

You will need:Computer HeadphonesMicrophoneInternet connection

Setting up your computer to record

1.Download and Install Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net

2.Install the lame.dll for .mp3 export http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=install&item=lame-mp3

3.Run Audacity and start recording

Uploading and linking to media

Using the hosting service you have selected, now we need to upload our audio file(s).

Once it looks like the audio is ready, test it out by listening to the file.

Link or embed the audio in your webpage.
