Dob Todorov – Regional Technology Officer, Public Sector EMEAFelix Manoharan – EMEA Lead, AWS Educate

With the dramatically increasing demand for cloud employees, AWS Educate is Amazon’s global initiative to dramatically accelerate cloud learning in the classroom and graduate students ready to enter a cloud-enabled workforce.

Demand for Cloud Workforce Booming

• Relatively high satisfaction, but …

– Limits to accepted applications and burden for educators to apply and administer

– Relatively low student utilization rate

– No content or quick start tools for educators

– No collaboration

– 1:1 time-consuming process for AWS
