How has racism in football developed?

http://www.timetoast.com/timelines/football-racism-row-how-it-unfolded (This is the link to the timeline that I have found to explain the development of racism in football.)

There has been a lot of racial incidents in football over the past century. The main people that have been racially abused are black people. Over all my research I have found out that if black people didn’t start playing in Europe, all the talent of black people would be wasted. Players such as Viv Anderson, Samuel Et’o, Patrice Evra and etc.

The players that have been racially abused

Viv Anderson: The first black person to play for the England National Team in 1978 when England won 4-0 against Norway.

Patrice Evra: Racially abused by Liverpool’s Luis Suarez during a match in the Barclays Premier League, Manchester United Vs Liverpool.

Samuel Et’o: When he moved to Barcelona in 2004, he was racially abused by the opponent’s supporters and 4 months later he left Barcelona for Inter Milan.

Patrice Evra• Patrice Evra is one of

the most recent player that have been racially abused on the football pitch.

• After the incident he has said that he has become stronger .

• Stood up for himself when he faced Luis Suarez the next match they played together.

The Consequences• The consequences

are finalized by different federations, for example in England it would be finalized by the English FA and in Brazil it would be finalized by the Brazil FA.

• Mainly FIFA’s president Sepp Blatter decides mainly in international matches

Which countries has had the most racist

incidents?A lot of players are racially abused mainly in European countries such as Poland, Serbia, Italy, Spain, England and Belgium.

It is said to be that Poland has the most racist supporters in the world.

During the Euro 2012 Polish supporters kept on singing racist chants.

Map to show the countries that have racist supporters

How we can make a change to stop

racism in footballProtest to FIFA or the FA to make it illegal on football fields.

When you see a racist supporter, report them to the police.

Stand up for yourselves.

Try and tell FIFA to make the consequences much more severe.

The Conclusion(Answer)

• Racism made every league in the world much more competitive.

• Players that have racially abused other players learn lessons not to be racist.

• Made the players that have been racially abused much more stronger mentally and physically.

• Warns other players not to be racist to one another.

• Made football much more fun to watch because the leagues become much more competitive after racism entered football.
