• Approximately 350 clubs, 5 regions. 41.000 members

• One of 9 sports federations to be part in large, government funded project, in 11 cities in the Netherlands (2006-2010)

• Initial goal: obtain an increase of 15% (non-western) immigrant members into clubs

• Result basketball (30 clubs): 113% increase

• Overall increase of approximately 1400 new members

• Opportunity to develop new basketball activities for all age groups
