Death, I think, is really life,The living, I'd call dead;To leave this human, mortal strife,And in new paths be led.

Death, I think, is beautiful,A new and happy home,To live then with the FatherAnd away you'll never roam.

Death, I know, brings sorrow,And often drops a tear;Then you think your end has come,But it's only life that's near.

--by Ted Hagstrom age 10, killed at age 13 in an auto accident.

Live so that when death comes you may embrace like friends, not encounter like enemies.

There is nothing more certain than death, nothing more uncertain than the time of dying. We should therefore be prepared at all times

for that which may come at any time.

When we die we leave behind us all that we have and take with us all that we are.

For whether we live, we live unto the Lord;

and whether we die, we die unto the Lord:

whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.Romans 14:8

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this

mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

1 Corinthians 15:54-55.
